Faith is nuanced. Let's talk about it.
Open Table Talks is a gathering for people whose Christian identities have been marginalized in Central Valley communities of faith. Our goal is to hold space for voices and experiences that have been silenced elsewhere. We seek to provide a safe place for people to connect around important topics through the lens of progressive Christianity.
Open Table Talks aims to listen to and learn from the stories of those on the margins. We have found that a living faith is characterized by mystery, change, and growth in the context of loving community. We believe that all people are born with the essential dignity and value that comes from being made in God’s image and therefore are committed to being open and affirming of all of God’s people, inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities.
We want you to know this: even if it feels like you are on the outside, you are not alone.

Open Table Talk #1
We invite you to gather, learn, grieve, heal, and hope with us as we navigate the complexities and nuances of faith. Hosted and moderated by a group of progressive Christians, our first gathering offers a space to learn from and dialogue with members of the LGBTQ community, allies, and others committed to the full inclusion of queer people.
